Are you thinking about coming to the Rebellion in April?
XR Buddhists will be there. This rebellion is going to be a little different from previous rebellions: XR will act as one rather than having lots of decentralised actions. There is also going to be an extra immediate demand to end the fossil fuel economy. You can read more about the background to the Rebellion in XR’s recently published strategy. We will start by gathering at 0930 in Hyde Park (Speakers Corner) on Saturday the 9th of April. This is a day of talks, training, outreach and meditation and is not intended to be disruptive. If you want to invite your Buddhist group to the gathering on the 9th of April we have written an open letter here which you are welcome to use.
The Rebellion will go on in London until at least the following weekend which is the Easter Bank Holiday. So even if you can’t get time off from work you may be able to come for a day or two.
